Falck launches new digital monitoring service for medical check-ups

Medical check-ups are a legal requirement for many employers – but follow-up has long been manual and time-consuming. Now we are launching a new digital monitoring service that helps you as a manager keep track of whether and when employees need to go for a check-up.

Example of a list view where the manager can see all of his employees' ongoing monitoring.

The monitoring service provides managers with a centralized digital tool to track, add, and update employees in relation to medical examinations – directly through Falck’s customer portal. The service ensures that the correct check-ups are carried out at the right time, in accordance with current legislation and the regulations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

For employers, the service offers a simpler and more structured way of working, reducing the time spent on administration. By consolidating follow-up activities into a digital workflow, the risk of missed check-ups or unclear responsibilities between different functions is minimized.

“With the monitoring service, we help managers comply with legal requirements and, most importantly, prevent ill health so that all employees can have a safe and sustainable working day,” says Susanna Ankarcrona, Project Manager at Falck Business Development.

How the monitoring service simplifies medical examinations

Falck monitors, schedules, and sends appointment notifications to affected employees based on established intervals. After the examination has been completed, a certificate for service is issued, and in the event of a cancellation or missed appointment, the manager is notified immediately.

The service also gives managers a better overview, enabling them to quickly see which employees are subject to examination requirements and what the next step is.
