New e-learning course on noise in the work environment

Noise is a common risk factor in many work environments and can affect health, safety and work performance. We are now launching a new e-learning course that provides employees and managers with basic knowledge about sound and noise in the workplace.

Increased knowledge of noise and its risks

Noise can occur in many different operations and work environments. Prolonged or high exposure can affect hearing, cause stress and fatigue, and impair concentration. Noise can also increase the risk of accidents by making communication more difficult and making it harder to hear warning signals.

This e-learning course provides participants with knowledge and an understanding of how noise affects people and the work environment. It also covers measures that can be taken to reduce the risks and how different types of hearing protection can be used.

By increasing knowledge about noise, we create better conditions for identifying risks, taking the right measures, and preventing ill health and accidents in the workplace.

Course content

During the course, participants will learn more about:

  • Sound and noise
  • The consequences of noise exposure
  • How noise can be controlled
  • Different ways to protect yourself from noise

The course is aimed at both employees and managers and can be used as part of systematic occupational health and safety management.
